Event tents
We all enjoy outdoor social gatherings and events which give us the opportunity to visit with family, friends, and meet new acquaintances. Outdoor gatherings allow us the chance to enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty such as sunshine, cool breezes, and sunsets. However, not all social events turn out as planned regarding the weather. As we all know well, Mother Nature can quickly change her desired weather setting from pleasant to challenging. These are the times when commercial grade event tents can save the day and keep the party going. Event tents are available in a variety of sizes and designs. One requirement is that tent must have the capability to withstand the harsh weather conditions and keep guests safe from the elements. Most commercial grade tents are extremely durable, waterproof, and structurally capable to hold up to the elements with the proper anchoring and assembly.
There are two common types of event tents which are utilized in the event industry which have stood the test of time. These are pole tents and frame tents. Pole tents are held upright by using a heavy duty anchoring system to tension the main cover to a number of poles (typically steel or aluminum). Pole tents are not freestanding which means they require poles and an anchoring system to maintain an upright position.
Frame event tents are freestanding, however, anchoring is required to secure the tent to the mounting surface in less than desirable weather conditions. Frame tents are typically more expensive than pole tents, however, they typically have a longer life span than pole tent due to less constant tension on the main cover or top.
