A: Yes. All packages have installation instructions included
Q: What tools are required for setup and tear down?
A: Sledge hammer or breaker hammer with stake driver bit (to install stakes); ground cloth or tarp (to place tent top on to prevent damage); stake puller (to remove stakes)
Q: How many people are required to install tents?
A: Smaller party tents (20' wide and less) can be installed with (2) physically capable adults. Larger products may require up to 3-4 adults.
Q: How much time does it take to install my tent?
A: Smaller tents can be installed in 1 - 2 hours. Larger tents will require 2 - 4 hours.
Q: How is my tent secured (anchored)?
A: Tents are traditionally anchored with stakes, ropes, and ratchet / webbing assemblies with mounting on dirt, gravel, or asphalt. Water barrels or heavy pre cast concrete blocks can be used on concrete surfaces.
Q: Are the tent covers UV protected?
A: Yes. The covers and panels have UV protection agents to resist fading and damage from sunlight.
Q: Are the tent top flame resistant?
A: Yes. The tent tops and side walls are flame resistant and meet NFPA 701 requirements.
Q: Are the frames corrosion resistant?
A: Yes. Poles are galvanized steel or anodized aluminum
Q: Can I get side walls / enclosures for my tent?
A: Yes. A variety of side walls and enclosures are available
Q: Is a forklift required to unload the product from the freight truck?
A: A forklift is not required, however, it is beneficial for larger tents.
Q: Are their snow and/or wind load rating with these products?
A: No. These structures are considered "temporary shelters". There are no wind or snow load ratings.
Q: Do I need a permit to install a tent?
A: Each city, township, county is different. Please consult with local authorities prior to installation
Q: What is the life expectancy of tent top cover?
A: Life expectancies vary by the amount of setups and teardowns, exposure to sunlight, and owner care. Average life expectancy for tent rental companies is 5 - 7 years with the proper care for the 16 oz blockout fabric.
Q: What is the shipping method for my product?
A: All complete tent kits are shipped on wood pallets with shrink wrapping via (Less than Truckload) LTL freight. Dremcor makes every effort to place all parts on one pallet to prevent "package separation".
Q: What is the approximate shipping time for my product to arrive?
A: In stock products are typically shipped within 3 business days. However, shipping time can vary depending on product ordered, inventory levels, location within the US, and demand. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada shipments require additional time.
Q: Does the tent top include a storage bag?
A: Yes. Storage bags are included with each tent top.
